You may be wondering why I decided to create a blog. I'm wondering that myself. Basically, I love the paranormal. I can spend hours and hours reading about ghosts, hauntings, UFOs, alien encounters, time travel, shadow people, time warps, psychic ability, cryptozoology, etc. My interests crosses over to related topics such as ancient technology and civilizations, ley lines, Atlantis, and more.
My love of the paranormal began when I was just a little girl. The library at my elementary school had several Daniel Cohen books and I devoured each one. Soon I had devoured every book in the alternative topic section that was even remotely related to ghosts and hauntings. I also happened to be a huge fan of The Adventures of Scooby Doo. :-) My grandfather had an interest in UFOs and aliens, which caused me to explore that topic as well. I then found myself reading about clairvoyancy and other types of psychic ability because I had stumbled across the concept while reading a book about a woman who claimed to have psychic contact with an alien entity. That, of course, led to me reading about ancient civilizations because I read a book about Edgar Cayce. Next thing I knew I was reading about Glastonbury Tor, which led to me scouring for information about ley lines. That led to the ancient civilizations of South America, Greece, and Egypt. I was hooked. The pattern continues to this day.
Perhaps the previous paragraph gives you an idea of how my brain works. I read a book which contains a tid bit on a related topic, and suddenly I am reading everything I can find about that topic. I'm a researcher at heart. It is outside of my ability to leave a stone unturned. Part of the reason for this blog is to document the various topics that have attracted my interest. Friends and colleagues in the paranormal community have also asked me in the past for some of the information that will appear in this blog at some point. My recall ability is a little scary - ask me a question on a paranormal topic and I will manage to pull at least a tid bit from my memory bank. Its an annoying trait, but it is what it is. Hopefully some of you will find what I share in this blog helpful, if not interesting.
I may often step outside of factual information to offer my own thoughts and opinions on a theory. Occasionally you may see a post regarding a fictional book, TV show, or movie that made me think. I also have a tendency to wax philosophical. Just bare with me... I am the way that I am. LOL.
I hope that you enjoy my future posts and check back often. Please feel free to suggest topics. I seem to work best when asked a question because I like to search for answers. :-)
